Amy: Back To Black.

Amy: Back to Black is part of Ty Fischer’s black-and-white lenticular series exploring the fragile harmony between fame and vulnerability. Printed on lenticular film, the artwork reveals two intertwined dimensions, one a digitally hand-painted portrait rendered in sculptural grayscale, echoing the expressive depth of acrylic on canvas; the other composed entirely of song titles that defined her voice and legacy: Rehab, Back to Black, Stronger Than Me, Valerie, You Know I’m No Good, and Tears Dry on Their Own.

As the viewer shifts, the two layers blend, the paint dissolves into lyric, and lyric returns to form. What emerges is not merely a portrait, but a rhythm in motion: a visual echo of Amy’s soul, where beauty and ache coexist. Each piece is handcrafted, meticulously aligned, and designed to transform with light and movement — capturing the fleeting brilliance of an artist whose sound still lingers between darkness and grace.
